Contractor series compressors feature heavy duty, oil lubricated with cast iron sleeve pumps. 

They also feature two piece connecting rods, an independent wrist pin and a real 3 ring piston.  All contractor series compressors have fan cooled, thermal overload protected motors and a heavy duty pressure switch, with on/off control and copper bleeder tube.  A finned copper discharge tube is used to increase heat dissipation.  All units come with a regulator (except gas units which are regulated by a pilot valve) and an easy to read pressure gauge.
